Certified Recovery Specialist training


Penn State Lehigh Valley will begin offering its Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) training in January. Community members will have the opportunity to become a CRS who assists others in recovery from substance use disorders. Those with direct experience in addiction and recovery are welcome to register. CRS, which begins Jan. 26, is designed to meet the current educational requirements for the CRS credentials as set forth by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB). Classes will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays at the Lehigh Valley campus, located at 2809 Saucon Valley Road in Center Valley.
