Setting a comedic standard of excellence that others continually try to follow, Brian Regan recently signed a two-special deal with Netflix, joining Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K., Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld as the only comedians in multi-special deals with the leader in worldwide streaming. Brian’s first Netflix special was taped June 23 & 24 at The Paramount Theater in Denver and will be released in November.
On November 11, Brian will make his Carnegie Hall debut and on October 17, he will co-star alongside Ron Livingston in Peter Farrelly’s new TV series, Loudermilk, on The Audience Network. Brian’s last stand-up special, Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall (2015), was the first live broadcast of a stand-up special in Comedy Central’s history. The special was critically acclaimed with Vanity Fair calling Brian, “The funniest stand-up alive.” And on May 8, 2015, Brian made his 28th and final stand-up performance on Late Show With David Letterman, the most of any comic since the show moved to CBS in 1993.
Brian made a scene-stealing cameo in Chris Rock’s film, Top Five, and he was seen in Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. But it is stand-up comedy that is Brian’s focus visiting close to 100 cities each year and selling out some of the most beautiful venues on the continent. Brian returned to the legendary, 8600-seat Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 5, 2015 and on March 18 & 19, 2016 he returned to the 12,500-seat Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City where he sold out two shows in 2014.
Brian has released six hours of comedy: Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall (2015) is airing on Comedy Central and is available on CD & DVD and as a video or audio download; All By Myself (2010) is available on CD and download only through his website; his two previous hour-long Comedy Central specials, The Epitome of Hyperbole (2008), and Brian Regan Standing Up (2007) are available on DVD; I Walked on the Moon (2004) is available on DVD or as an audio or video download only through his website and Brian Regan Live (1997) is available on CD.
