Art in Dialouge: Artist Talk & Family Workshop

As an artist, Deirdre Murphy’s work is made with the attentiveness of a scientist, observing the natural world beyond the visible surface. Her paintings explore the interconnected qualities of art and science, paying particular attention to the micro and macro patterns that reveal our connectedness. Join Deirdre as she discusses her newest body of work, and inspires artists of all ages to create their own creative response through the exploration of migratory avian flight and constellation patterns.

This event will be happening through Zoom. To join please follow this link:

Artist Talk & Family Workshop: Deirdre Murphy is part of the ART IN DIALOGUE series.

ART IN DIALOGUE is a series of interdisciplinary conversations between members of the AAD faculty and colleagues from both the university and the wider community - reflecting the ways in which their work is dynamically engaged with other fields of inquiry.

ALL ART IN DIALOGUE programs will be hosted on Zoom. All events are free and open to the public.

Please be aware that there has been a nationwide increase in disruptions to virtual events. Some of these disruptive incidents could include offensive language or imagery.
