American Indian Artifact Show

The Museum of Indian Culture will host its annual American Indian Artifact Show, on August 15, featuring thousands of Native American artifacts displayed by members of the Artifact Collectors Association of the North East (IACANE). The Artifact Show, held outdoors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a great way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in the beautiful Lehigh Parkway!

This family-friendly event will feature activities including flint-knapping, primitive fire-making, sweetgrass basketry and atlatl demonstrations. Activities for children include Archaeology Adventures - a “mini-excavation” where kids will dig and screen for “artifacts”, and Talking Arrowheads – stories about artifact collecting by local collector, Bruce Hentschel.

All proceeds made from this event will directly benefit the Museum of Indian Culture. For more information on this event, please visit the Museum of Indian Culture's website.
