A Pennsylvania Dutch Christmas


Travel back to the 1840s as a Pennsylvania Dutch farm family prepares for Christmas. Discover old-fashioned holiday games, baking, folk stories, and tree decorating. The Belsnickel (St. Nicholas in furs), will give treats.  This event is held at the Historic Troxell-Steckel Farm Museum. Tours last about one hour. Last tour starts at 3 p.m. This program is not designed to promote or inhibit any culture or religion over another. It is designed to teach and educate about customs from the past.
