Oktoberfest presented by Yuengling (Oct. 6 - 8 & 13 - 15) Celebrate the tradition of a German Oktoberfest with a special Lehigh Valley flair! This year’s event will feature the return of the David Hasslehoff-off, the lumberjacks of the Great Lake Timber Show, and more. Don’t miss the dachshund races!
Bethlehem Harvest Festival (Oct. 7) Celebrate the season in downtown Bethlehem with chances to sample beer, wine, and soup! Tasting passports give you exclusive access to the various offerings. The event also features local vendors and musicians.
Easton Garlic Fest (Oct. 7 - 8) Get ready to eat, drink, and stink! The Easton Farmers’ Market showcases all things garlic for a weekend of stinking good fun. Enjoy cooking demonstrations, cocktail pairings, live performances, and more.
Leesport Harvest Craft Fair (Oct. 7 - 8) Looking for fall or holiday decor to spruce up your home? Leesport Craft Fair gives visitors the chance to browse more than 300 vendors offering up unique goods for sale. Admission and parking are free.
Ghost Lantern Tours (Fridays & Saturdays, Oct. 13 - 28) Head to Crystal Cave for a spooky good time. Tours are led through the cavern with only the light from a lantern to guide your way. This is the original tour that guests would have taken in the 1870s.
Chambourcin Weekend (Oct. 14 - 15) The Lehigh Valley Wine Trail celebrate the grape that is grown by all eight member wineries. Throughout the weekend, you can enjoy special tastings and events at each vineyard. For details on specific events, be sure to consult the wineries individually.
Haunted Hugh Moore Park (Oct. 20 - 21 & 27 - 28) Easton’s canal-side park brings a few spooks for this annual event. Take part in walks to the locktender’s house complete with eerie ghost stories, rides on the Josiah White II canal boat, and more.
Runner’s World Half & Festival (Oct. 20 - 22) Run with the editors of Runner’s World as the annual Half & Festival event takes over downtown Bethlehem. Along with an expo and numerous seminars, events include a 5k, 10k, half marathon, and more.
Lehigh Valley Cider & Wine Festival (Oct. 21) Raise a glass to this unique tasting festival! Coca-Cola Park is transformed into a land of tasty beverages. This year’s event features two, four-hour tasting sessions complete with food truck, live music, and more.
Boo at the Zoo (Oct. 21 - 22 & 28 - 29) Make your way to the Lehigh Valley Zoo for some Halloween fun! Little ones are welcome to dress in costume to trick-or-treat through the grounds of the zoo, while visiting their favorite animals.
