Throughout the past year, parks and trails have been a source of sanity for our Lehigh Valley region. Whether it was a weekend bike ride or a post-work run, parks and trails allowed people to reduce pandemic-induced stress and safely enjoy recreational activities with their loved ones.

As a way of giving back, it’s important we work together to maintain and enhance our parks and trails. The Lehigh Valley Green Retail Program was created by Lehigh Valley Greenways, in partnership with THE LINK Trail Network, for this purpose. The program is a year-round charity that allows customers to donate a few dollars at checkout to local trails and parks in Lehigh and Northampton counties.

All donations are matched at a 1:1 ratio by local nonprofit organizations and municipalities through the Lehigh Valley Greenways Mini-Grant Program. The donated funds will then be designated to ongoing future mini-grant projects specifically for trails and parks. An interactive map of previous mini-grant projects can be found here.
