If you like 80’s music, and wonder why the 80’s ever had to end, then you will probably enjoy this band. The M80's play in and around Lehigh Valley, I usually go see them play at the Molten Lounge in Sands Casino. Hearing them play may bring you back to a time of leg warmers, side pony tails and mullets, or maybe you’ll just have a good time and dance a little.

In my humble opinion they are a great 80’s cover band, dare I say the best around. By the looks of the crowd they bring in, several people agree with at least part of my previous statement. If you plan on sitting to watch the show then you better get there early.

My friends and family try to meet at Sands each time they play. As I walked over to meet up with my family the first thing my aunt did, before even hugging me, was “beer me.” Yes, she handed me a beer, from a relatively large pile sitting on the ledge behind her. Turns out Michelob Ultra is only $2 until 10 p.m. on Friday nights (in Molten Lounge), therefore they were stock piling them.

Then the sweet sound of the 80’s streamed through my ears. The band sings all your favorite classics from Don’t You Want Me, Video Killed The Radio Star and my personal favorite, Take Me Home Tonight. *Busts out singing “Take me home tonight, I don’t want to let you go until you see the light.”* Now that you’re sitting at your desk, toes tapping, humming an 80’s song, I should probably tell you that…

M80 will be at Sands Casino, in the Molten Lounge this Friday, March 11, 2011. Will you be there?
