So we're all tightening our financial belts these days, which for me means less dining out. I consider myself a foodie, so dining out is a way of life for me. While I don't need to dine out at a nice restaurant every day, I would like to do it, say... once a week.
Well I think I can justify dining out next week since The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley is doing its first Restaurant Week promotion from February 22 - 26. There will be fixed prices - but limited menu options - for lunch and dinner at several places in the shopping complex.
I still haven't made it to Shula's Steak House, mainly due to the price of all its a la carte menu items; but for $39 for dinner, I think I can splurge! If not there, then I'll do the sushi thing over at Kome Fine Japanese Cuisine. Melt is another reliable option for gourmet cuisine. Oh and there's White Orchids Thai Cuisine, which I also still need to try. So many options and all are only $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner.
And if the budget won't allow double digit meals, there are casual dining options for only $8 at Cosi (great sandwiches), Red Robin (love their burgers), and several others. Not to mention desserts at a slew of other places. (I recommend the red velvet cake ice cream at Maggie Moo's.) Whew!
Any suggestion on which restaurant I should pick?
