Now in its 27th year, Christkindlmarkt presented by Univest Financial is a one-of-a-kind family event that brings the spirit of Bethlehem alive with the season. This event was twice recognized as one of the best holiday markets in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure.

Visitors to Christkindlmarkt will immediately feel the seasonal spirit as a large Christmas tree greets them at the ticketing counters. Prices are $10 for adults ages 13+ and $6 for children ages 6-12. If you'll be visiting more than once, grab a season pass for just $20 for adults of $12 for children.
The market itself features aisles of handmade works by more than 150 of the nation’s finest artisans. There are four heated tents that are overflowing with thoughtful holiday gifts, delicious eats and drinks, and so much more. You can even watch the glassblowers of the ArtsQuest Glass Studio at the Banana Factory Arts Center at work as they create holiday ornaments. A limited number of spaces to create your own handmade glass ornament are also available, but do fill up quickly! Learn more by clicking here.
New for 2019, Christkindlmarkt is enhancing its experience for guests by adding the charming Outdoor Village featuring outdoor artisan huts including The Lazy Dazey, offering handmade apparel, accessories, artwork & folkart; Navila Natural Shop, which creates beautiful handmade nesting dolls; Perfect Day Coffee, which offers ground coffee & accessories; and Wicked Buy, which sells upcycled alcohol bottles to create dazzling glassware. The new Outdoor Village, which is made possible thanks in part to funding received from the County of Northampton’s Hotel Tax Program, is also highlighted by cozy fire pits and igloos where patrons can relax while enjoying Gluhwein or a hot toddy!
Kids will love visiting with St. Nicholas for a photo opp and can even have breakfast with the man in red himself on select dates (Dec. 7 & 14, 2019). View the full list of happenings at Christkindlmarkt by clicking here.
Parking at Christkindlmarkt is free and available at a number of nearby lots. Or, opt to take the Christmas City Trolley to make your transportation around Bethlehem a breeze. The Trolley runs every 20-20 minutes on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with stops at Christkindlmarkt, Main Street, and the various parking garages throughout the region.
