Thanks to, I know now that Saturday's temperature was 11 degrees over the average high and only 3 degrees off the record high, in Allentown anyway.

So, I'll let you in on how I beat the midday heat, and let me tell you that I wasn't alone...

I pulled into the parking lot of AMC Tilghman Square 8, knowing that it was going to be a lot cooler in a movie theater. The only question was - what movie was it going to be? No, actually that wasn't going to be an issue at all. As a fanboy of many things, including the Marvel Universe, I knew Captain America was not only an option ... It was the answer.

Now, I'm not one for spoilers, both the people who just tell you how things end and the actual information that they give, so I'll not discuss the movie itself except to say that I enjoyed every moment of it. Especially in the cool dark theater. So what happens when the credits start to roll and your time in the theater is growing short? If you're there just to have a good time, you get up and you leave, but if you're there because of the Universe (the Marvel Universe) that you've seen grow on the big screen for the last few years, you wait it out until after the credits.

I'm not going to tell you what I saw after the credits, or what it means, just suffice to say that I was very pleased... No, I'll tell you to wait and see for yourselves and I hope you do.

So in honor of Comic-Con, I'll ask you this one question:

If Lehigh Valley had a superhero, who would it be and what would their super power be?
