It’s been hot in Lehigh Valley this week. Really hot! For those of you that are looking to stay cool and still get a little outdoor exercise, I have the perfect solution. Go visit Jacobsburg State Park. That’s right. Pack some water and hit the trails at Lehigh Valley’s only state park.

Most of the trails are covered by enormous trees which makes it feel a lot cooler. It sure beats walking on macadam and you can cool off in the Bushkill Creek along the way. The park is pet-friendly, so bring Fido along and explore 18.5 miles of trails to hike, bike or horseback ride. You can also fish if you'd like.

Check out our latest video below which highlights the park and the buildings of the Boulton Historic Site. Did you know that this is the site of William Henry I, who was one of America’s pioneer Pennsylvania rifle makers? You can check out all of the history at the Boulton Historic Site on weekends, noon to 4 p.m., from May through October.
