My weekly trip to Souderton takes me past a sign that reads Quakertown Farmers Market 1-1/4 miles, which reminds me of when I was a kid and my grandparents used to take me and my brother there from time to time. We loved going there - our favorite part was being able to race remote cars on a track and getting to buy a little something each time we went. So this weekend I decided to spend some quality time with my mom, and one of our stops was the Quakertown Farmers Market.

As soon as I walked in, it was as if nothing had changed. I even remembered some of the vendors that are there today being there back when I was a kid. Believe it or not, the remote race car track was still there and busier than ever! The entire place was crowded.

We made our way around the entire inside of the farmers market. They had some great deals on fruits and vegetables, which we both stocked up on. I was a little disappointed to not find anything organic though. My mom was able to find some miscellaneous items too, like vacuum cleaner bags and doilies for a great price. You can find ANYTHING at this place!

We never made it to the flea market, which is also part of the farmers market, but I heard it's enormous with nearly 600 vendors. I don't remember that section being there when I was a kid - I'll have to check it out on a warmer day.

So what vendor amazed me the most? Well, there were actually two. One was a vendor where you could actually record a song in a sound booth. The other was a vendor that claimed to have a live alligator for viewing purposes! Do you have any favorite vendors at the Quakertown Farmers Market?
