2014 has been an amazing year for Lehigh Valley. We have seen an unbelievable transformation in downtown Allentown, including a state-of-the-art multi-use arena.

The PPL Center, which opened in September, has already hosted a memorable concert by the Eagles, a basketball game with the Philadelphia 76ers, and numerous home games for the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

In addition to the arena, numerous restaurants have made downtown Allentown their home, including The Hamilton Kitchen & Bar, Roar Social House, Tim Hortons, and Tony Luke’s Cheesesteaks. With all this entertainment in the downtown, I’m happy to announce that the Renaissance® Allentown will be opening its 170-room hotel in early January. Keep an eye on DiscoverLehighValley.com for additional developments in downtown Allentown.

Allentown was not the only Lehigh Valley city seeing success. The Sands® Bethlehem Event Center and Sands® Bethlehem recently teamed up to host dozens of motorcoach groups for Tony Orlando’s Great American Christmas. Many of these groups added a Bethlehem by Night tour to their itinerary to create a memorable holiday tour. While 2014 was a great year, I look forward to sharing additional successes as we move through 2015.

I can’t wait to see you on the road over the next few months. If you have any questions about these new additions or want to discuss an itinerary, please feel free to give me a call.
