Pack a picnic lunch, a comfortable blanket, some sunglasses and take advantage of the many parks and cozy spots as the setting for your next picnic. The following locations call for some walking shoes as you won’t want to miss out on the nearby trails and attractions.

Crunchy leaves, crisp air, and pumpkin-flavored everything. Lehigh Valley shines in bright oranges and vibrant reds during the fall months. Make the most of the season by crossing off these must-do activities before the colder temperatures start to creep in. Please note that due to COVID-19, some of these may be conducted differently to adhere to state & local guidelines. 

Boutique & extended-stay hotels to open in the region

Big-​brand hotels are opening in ​Lehigh Valley—​Hilton—​and strengthening the ​region’s boutique cred. ​Together, the ​two new hotels are unlocking ​152 new rooms to meet ​the anticipated ​visitor demand, which ​was steadily increasing before the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S. and has been on the rise for over the past ​10 years.​ Even since the pandemic, the region has seen some of the strongest hotel demand in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since March 2020.​

Becky's Drive-In in Walnutport
Open 7 days a week! Gates open at 7 p.m. on Friday, 6 p.m. on Saturday & 7:30 p.m. Sunday–Thursday. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 3-12. Admission includes a double feature.

  • Through July 30 - Screen 1: The Karate Kid” (PG) at 8:50 p.m. and “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” (PG-13) at 11:15 p.m.
  • Through July 30 - Screen 2: “Twister” (PG-13) 8:55 p.m. and “Gremlins” (PG) at 11:05 p.m.
