Event to be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center on Christmas Eve.

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (December 10, 2015) – Spirit of the Lehigh Valley, a domestic non-profit, will help to brighten the holidays for those less fortunate in the Lehigh Valley region for the 23rd year.

Families referred from over 35 social agencies from Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton will arrive at the Holiday Inn Conference Center (7736 Adrienne Dr., Breinigsville, PA 18031) between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve for a free holiday banquet. The event is complete with live entertainment, smiling community volunteers, and a Winter Wonderland with Santa offering toys to the children.

The need is great — over 4,000 typically attend the event which is made possible by community donations.

Trans Bridge Lines and their drivers run complimentary bus transportation throughout the day. Additional major sponsors of this event are Nestle Waters, Jaindl’s, Coca-Cola, Action Party Rentals, The Cops n’ Kids program, Toys for Tots, and Sysco Foodservice. Volunteers are still needed for the 2016 Christmas Eve Banquet. Please call 610-391-1000 x2390 if you are interested in participating for this wonderful cause. If you can’t make it for Christmas Eve and love to gift wrap, a wrapping party will be held on December 22 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Conference Center to prepare for the Christmas Eve event. Please bring tape, scissors, wrapping paper, and plenty of holiday cheer.
