Lilly received promotion after working in the tourism and hospitality industry for over 20 years, including the past 10 with Discover Lehigh Valley

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (Monday, March 14, 2011) – Discover Lehigh Valley, the area’s designated tourist promotion agency, has promoted Kim Lilly to Executive Vice President. Lilly, who was previously the Vice President of Discover Lehigh Valley, will oversee the sales and marketing departments.

“We recognize and appreciate Kim’s longstanding commitment to promoting Lehigh Valley as a visitor destination,” said Discover Lehigh Valley President Michael Stershic. “Her work ethic and passion for what she does is measured by the milestones Discover Lehigh Valley has attained since she was brought on board.”

Lilly was initially hired by Discover Lehigh Valley in February 2001. As Executive Vice President, she manages the strategic direction and development of collateral materials, the website (, advertising, social media, sales and printing projects.

In addition to her work responsibilities, Lilly is active on several area boards. She is co-chairing the marketing committee for Da Vinci Science Center and serves as Vice President for Skal of Northeast Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the marketing committee for both Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital and Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation.

Lilly was born and raised in Lehigh Valley, where she currently resides. She is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
