Weyerbacher Celebrates 20th Year With Picnic at the Brewery
Weyerbacher Brewing Company was founded in 1995 in a livery stable in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania. From humble beginnings in the livery stable to the approximately 30,000 square foot facility Weyerbacher currently calls home, the brewery has always been dedicated to making bold, innovative beers that challenge style boundaries.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Weyerbacher is hosting a picnic at the brewery on Saturday, June 27th from noon until 5 pm. The festivities will include fun and games throughout the day, as well as food from Fud Truk, Sweet Girlz Bakery, Mad Dash Gourmet Grilled Cheese and Bank Street Creamery. Each will be selling food inspired by or containing Weyerbacher beers. Live music from Philly band, Swift Technique, begins at 1:30 pm.
Tickets are $7 per person and can be purchased online at weyerbacher.com, as well as at The Tap Room at Weyerbacher Brewing. Tickets are limited.
In celebration of their 20th, Weyerbacher will also be releasing their 20th Anniversary beer. Weighing in at 11% ABV, this Belgian-Style Dark Ale is malty with notes of caramel, raisins and berries, as well as subtle hints of coriander and star anise. Those attending the anniversary picnic will have the opportunity to try this delightful beverage. Available in 12 oz. bottles and on draft, look for 20th Anniversary in bars and restaurants, as well as on shelves throughout Weyerbacher’s distribution area. It will be available at The Tap Room at Weyerbacher Brewing beginning June 27th.
