Valley Preferred Cycling Center Introduces New Mascot, Bolt
Trexlertown, Pa. – The Valley Preferred Cycling Center introduced the newest addition to its T-town team Friday evening as Bolt, VPCC’s mascot, was revealed during the first intermission of the U.S. 10 Mile Championships, Friday’s World Series of Bicycling event.
Bolt, who is an ambassador of bike safety, make his debut in front of plethora of other, fellow Lehigh Valley mascots, including Red from Red Robin and Melvin of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Bolt entered the concrete crater on the back straightaway riding on a car courtesy of Chevy 21 with his theme song, “Thunderstruck,” by AC-DC.
After receiving a warm welcome from his friends, Bolt stuck around for the remainder of the evening, helping with musical chairs, and competing in an obstacle course against, The Morning Call’s mascot Max M. Call.
Bolt will have an online presence as well as he will have his own page on thevelodrome.com, where visitors can read more about Bolt and also schedule him for Bike Safety Presentations and other appearances as well.
