The Moravian Historical Society is accepting reservations for annual event.

Nazareth, PA – The Moravian Historical Society is excited to begin taking reservations for its 8th annual “Little Dolls, and a Little Tea” Moravian (colonial) and Victorian tea party.

“It is very exciting to share Nazareth’s history with children,” said Megan van Ravenswaay, Whitefield House Site Director for the organization. “Nazareth is rich with history and we love incorporating the events of the past with education and fun,” van Ravenswaay adds.

The elegant formal tea, held on Saturday, February 18th, is a special event for girls, their friends, family and dolls. Along with hot tea and other beverages, guests will enjoy Moravian and Victorian-period savories and sweets in an authentic Victorian parlor.

The little ladies will be served by hosts in period dress and receive a behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s doll collection. They will also create event inspired crafts and receive tea cups to take home.

Adults accompanying the girls may support the Moravian Historical Society by participating in a raffle. Some of the raffle items include: an American Girl doll, gift certificates and services donated from local businesses, doll accessories, site rental discounts, a basket of staff favorites from the book shop and more. 100% of the proceeds support Moravian Historical Society’s efforts to preserve and share history.
Recommended age is 5 years and up. Other ages are welcome based on the parent’s discretion. Cost is $30 per person. Pre-paid reservations are required as seating is limited. Two seatings are offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Whitefield House in beautiful downtown Nazareth.
