The Moravian Historical Society announces “Christmas in Nazareth” a community wide open house to celebrate the holiday season in historic Nazareth.
Ticket proceeds benefit the Moravian Historical Society, a non-profit organization.
Nazareth, PA – The Moravian Historical Society is pleased to announce “Christmas in Nazareth” a unique community wide celebration of the holiday season in beautiful historic Nazareth. The event will take place on Saturday, December 15th from 1 – 9pm at various downtown locations.
Families will enjoy an afternoon filled with activities for all ages. Enjoy a live nativity with animals at Moravian Hall Square, make an ornament with C. F. Martin & Co. out of guitar sound holes at the Old Martin Homestead, and meet Santa Claus at the Memorial Library for Nazareth and Vicinity! Don’t miss tours of the rarely seen 1740 Gray Cottage at the Moravian Historical Society, romantic carriage rides of the historic district, a traditional LoveFeast and Putz at Nazareth Moravian Church, and a meet and greet with Vigilance Fire Company #1 firefighters and engine. Holy Family Catholic Church and Nazareth Center for the Arts will present Christmas programs. Stop by the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s new Nazareth office for refreshments. Enjoy seasonal music, crafts, and other activities at Schisler Funeral Home, Herbs to Your Success, Nazareth Chamber of Commerce, and many more. To encourage visitation, Nazareth Borough is pleased to offer free parking at the downtown parking meters.
Families are invited to purchase a ticket ($10 for adults, $5 for youth under 16) at one of the following venues: the Moravian Historical Society, Memorial Library for Nazareth and Vicinity, and the Nazareth office of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Carriage rides and some activities may require an additional cost and/or wristband.
