New D&L Website Offers Incredibly Useful Tools for Planning Adventures Along the 165-mile Corridor; is Optimized for Mobile Use
EASTON (August 18) – The newly launched website for the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (delawareandlehigh.org) promises to provide the hundreds of thousands of visitors to the corridor each year a valuable tool for traversing the trail, finding points of interest, learning about the corridor’s storied history and much more from the convenience of any smartphone, tablet or computer.
With an interactive, Google-powered map as the focal point, the new site provides highly visual ways to find trailheads, understand the status of each trail section, plan adventures throughout the corridor and find information on important programs and events, making the website a single stop for all things D&L.
Weidenhammer Creative oversaw the development and design of the new website. With Weidenhammer’s forward thinking design, the D&L hopes to strengthen its organizational voice, locally and nationally.
The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that preserves historic pathways that carried coal and iron from Wilkes-Barre to Philadelphia. Today, the D&L Trail connects people to nature, culture, communities, recreation and our industrial heritage.
