 National Canal Museum Spring Lectures

EASTON, Pa., April 8, 2013 — The National Canal Museum continues its Spring Lecture Series in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Canal Society on Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Steam Railroads of Great Britain will be presented by Donald S. Young, railroad enthusiast extraordinaire, steam engineer and mechanic, and a world traveler in search of the last steam railroads.  Don will present a slide show highlighting the tourist railroads and remaining railroad museum in Great Britain, which is really the mecca for steam enthusiasts.

The Spring Lecture Series is held at the Emrick Technology Center, 2750 Hugh Moore Park Road, Easton, Pa.  Admission to this event is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.  All proceeds go to the National Canal Museum history fund. Doors open at 7 PM and the lectures begin at

7:30 PM and are approximately three hours in length.  Seating is limited to 100 persons on a first-come first-served basis. Parking for the Emrick Center is adjacent to the building.
