Meghan Trainor Bringing “The Untouchable Tour” to The Great Allentown Fair
Meghan Trainor, the singer-songwriter-producer that recently won the coveted GRAMMY award for Best New Artist is embarking on her second major tour and will perform at The Great Allentown Fair on Saturday, September 3.
Tickets at $59 and $39 go on sale to the public starting at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29. There are reserved seats on the floor and in the grandstand. The tickets will be available at the Fair Box Office and through Ticketmaster online, over the phone and at outlets. Show tickets purchased in advance include fair admission.
Trainor was scheduled to perform at the 2015 fair, but was forced to cancel the last three weeks of her summer MTrain Tour due to vocal cord issues for which she subsequently received successful surgery.
According to fair Marketing Director/Talent Buyer Bonnie Brosious, the fair could not reschedule that show but wanted to be a stop on this new tour in support of her second album, “Thank You,” being released May 13.
The first single from the new album, “No,” has already hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot Singles Chart.
Trainor was a hit machine in 2015 with four singles from her debut album “Title” in the top 20 including the “All About That Bass,” “Lips Are Movin,” “Dear Future Husband” and “Like I’m Going to Lose You.”
“Title” sold over one million copies and opened at the top of the Billboard 200 the week it was released.
Meghan Trainor’s special guest on the tour is singer-actress Hailee Steinfeld.
Special hours at the Fair Box Office located between the Ritz Barbecue and the Farmers Market on the Allentown Fairgrounds will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, April 29. Regular box office hours are on Thursdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tickets are still available for the previously announced fairweek shows KISS plus The Dead Daisies on September 1, Chris Stapleton on September 2 and Jeff Dunham on September 3. Tickets are also available for all day ride wristbands, half-price on regular fair admission and concert premium prepaid parking.
