Lehigh Valley Grand Prix Creates Enticing New Indoor Karting Track

Sep 30th, 2015Press Release from Lehigh Valley Grand Prix

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (September, 2015) – Lehigh Valley Grand Prix (LVGP), one of the premier indoor karting venues in the country, is proud to announce the creation of a brand new track layout.  This is the fourth track modification made in its history, guaranteeing that each time you come, you have a great race experience.

The new track features a new straightaway that’s the size of a football field (300 feet long).  Along with 13 new turns and a 45 mph racing environment, you are sure to have a blast each and every race.  Each race is a total of 8 minutes in length and a quarter mile long.

Combining over 1,500 used NASCAR tires, LVGP has created a brand new racing experience.  Each tire is drilled into the concrete floor, bolted together and a plastic perimeter is secured to the front of every tire to ensure that your race is as safe as it is fun.

The new track renovation took three days to complete and is now open to the public.
