Lehigh Valley Beer Week Kicks Off with Tapping of LVBW1
Allentown PA- At 5:15 p.m. on February 11th at the Allentown Brew Works, Lehigh Valley Beer Week will be kicked off with the tapping of LVBW1. In attendance will be the mayors of Bethlehem and Easton to cut the ceremonial ribbon and begin Lehigh Valley Beer Week.
LVBW1, the product of Michael Sexton, Brew Work’s winner of ‘Brewer for a Day’, will be poured by the Brew Works famous ‘Beerman’(a man in a giant beer costume) and served to the Lehigh Valley Mayors.
‘Beerman’ will be handing out samples of LVBW1 to all guests in attendance. Afterward, this flagship beer will be available for distribution to all participating bars around the Lehigh Valley throughout the week.
With the ceremonial ribbon cutting, Lehigh Valley Beer Week begins. This is a weeklong celebration of craft brewing in the Lehigh Valley. Events are planned throughout the week to highlight different bars, breweries, and venues. Currently, over 30 different participants are joining in for the festivities.

Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan and Easton Mayor Sal Panto will be behind the bar at the Allentown Brew Works on Monday February 11th at 5:15pm. They will be served the first beer of Lehigh Valley Beer Week, LVBW1, and will be cutting the ceremonial ribbon to begin the week’s festivities.
