John Hiatt & Allen Stone Coming to SteelStacks This Fall
BETHLEHEM, PA – GRAMMY nominee John Hiatt and singer-songwriter Allen Stone will perform at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks this fall. Tickets for both shows go on sale July 14, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and July 15, 10 a.m., to the public; they will be available at www.steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.
On Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m., the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Cafй presented by Yuengling welcomes singer-songwriter John Hiatt to the stage. Hiatt began his career working as a songwriter in Nashville and performing in clubs throughout the city. Many of his songs have been covered by other prominent artists including Joe Cocker (“Have a Little Faith in Me”), Bob Dylan (“The Usual”) and Eric Clapton (“Riding with the King”). Hiatt received his first GRAMMY nomination in 1995 for his album “Walk On.” Today, he continues to write and perform around the world. Tickets for his concert at the Musikfest Cafй are $49-$59.
Allen Stone began his career by self-releasing his first album, “Last to Speak,” and touring the country to promote the recording. His second release, “Allen Stone,” reached No. 2 on iTunes’ R&B/Soul charts and hit No. 9 and No. 35 on the Billboard Heatseekers and R&B/Hip Hop album charts respectively. Stone’s most recent recording is “Radius,” released in 2015. On Oct. 10, 7:30 p.m., he‘ll drop by the Musikfest Cafй for an intimate performance; tickets to the concert are $20-$25 in advance and $25-$30 day of show.
