Historic Hotel Bethlehem Hosts France Wine Dinner in Bethlehem on October 4

Bethlehem, Pa. (September 25, 2012) – Dennis J. Costello, General Manager of the Historic Hotel Bethlehem, is pleased to announce the second of the autumn wine dinner series with the France Wine Dinner on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 6:30pm hosted in the newly renovated 1741 on the Terrace.

Executive Chef David Troxell has created a menu that will take you on a culinary tour of the southern regions of France  Complimenting wines hand selected by our wine expert, will be paired with each course.  Chef Troxell will be at hand to explain each course as it is revealed.  Pepper Seared Foie Gras with fried and fresh fig and Roasted Leg of Lamb Cevennes stew are just two of the courses being served that evening.

A delectable dessert by the hotel’s pastry chef Cassandra Tripaldi will round out the evening.  The hotel’s wine expert will provide insight on the wines that evening and explain the pairing with each course.  Our own Françoise Buhot Launay will be the hostess for the evening.  Francois was born in France and summered every year in sur la côte d’Azur in south France.

Please join us for the France Wine dinner on October 4, 2012.  Enjoy touring the cuisine known to the southern regions of France paired with the perfect wines along with spectacular view of historic downtown Bethlehem, all in great company.  The cost per person is $65 (plus tax and gratuity).  Reservations are required and seating is limited.  Our Italian Wine Dinner is scheduled for November 1, 2012.
