Historic Bethlehem Pub Walking Tour Hops, Heritage, and High Times

Chris BowenBETHLEHEM, PA – Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites is excited to introduce Historic Bethlehem Pub Walking Tour on Saturday, July 11 from 2pm – 4pm.

Guests can take a guided tour through Bethlehem’s historic district while making pub stops along the way while learning about the importance of beer in Bethlehem. The highlights on the tour include the 1810 Goundie House, Apothecary Garden, the outside of the 1741 Gemeinhaus, the Sun Inn, and Hotel Bethlehem. Other stops include God’s acre, the outside of Nain Schober and Heckewelder house, Single Brethren’s House and Central Moravian Church, and the Blacksmith Shop.

The Historic Bethlehem Pub Walking Tour includes stops at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Hotel Bethlehem Tap Room, where guests will receive one complimentary beer at each stop and a Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites commemorative keepsake glass.

The tour will start promptly at 2pm at the Visitor Center, located at 505 Main Street, and will end at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub located at 534 Main Street.
