“Heart of the Valley” Antiques Show to Benefit WDIY
Celebrates its 12th Anniversary, March 3 & 4
WDIY 88.1 FM (Lehigh Valley, PA) “Heart of the Valley” Antiques Show, a benefit event for WDIY 88.1, will take place March 3 and 4 at Bethlehem’s Ice House. In its twelfth year, the show will feature 25 regional antique dealers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The dealers, specializing in American Country Antiques, will offer a variety of items, including quilts, textiles, pottery, primitives, glass, holiday and painted, country and formal furniture, folk art, toys and more. A complete list of exhibitors is available at www.wdiy.org.
Food and refreshments will be available from the Confetti Café of Bethlehem. Admission is $7 and parking is free at the Ice House, located on Sand Island, 56 River St., Bethlehem. The City of Bethlehem is a major sponsor of the event.
“When you pair what these dealers bring to exhibit with the architectural elements of the structure, you have quite a fabulous looking space in which to browse and buy,” says Show Manager, Anne Bedics. She continues, “And this is one of the few antiques shows with a soundtrack. After all, we are raising funds for Community Radio, so we enjoy enhancing the experience for attendees by providing the music of Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles, big band, jazz and more!”
All proceeds will benefit programming and operations for WDIY, Community Public Radio, 88.1 FM, the NPR station member for the Lehigh Valley. For more information, call 610-694-8100 or 610-588-6961 or visit www.wdiy.org.
