Dec 16th, 2015Press Release from Blue Mountain Resort

Palmerton, Pennsylvania (16 December 2015) – The unseasonably warm weather is keeping Blue Mountain Resort from starting their winter season, but it isn’t keeping them from getting outside and having some fun! This weekend, Blue Mountain Resort is inviting everyone to take part in a variety of specials across the mountain and will be reopening the Summit Aerial Park and Mountain Post Charlie Laser Tag.

Kicking off the weekend is a FREE Ugly Sweater Party on Thursday, December 17th from 6pm – 10pm at Slopeside Pub & Grill in the Summit Lodge. Bring your family and friends and show us your best Snow Dance with music and karaoke provided by DJ Cadenza and drink specials all night long, including discounted beer and specialty cocktails served up by your favorite Last Run Lounge bartenders Timm and Rob! A delicious buffet will be available for $10.95 for Season Pass Holders and $12.95 for the general public. There will also be prizes for the ugliest sweater and best holiday get-up. Come dressed for the occasion and be entered to win snowboards, lift tickets, beanies and more!

If you missed your chance to swing from the trees and zip line in the Summit Aerial Park or chase your friends around the Mountain Post Charlie Laser Tag course, come out this weekend! The courses will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 3pm. A one-hour laser tag session is $15 per person (groups of 4 or more are required). One pass-through in the Summit Aerial Park is $10 per person. Admission to both courses is FREE for 2015-2016 Season Pass Holders!

In addition to outdoor adventures, a variety of discounts will be offered across the mountain. Guests will receive 30% off all retail items at True Blue Mountain Sports Shop at the Summit (some exclusions apply). Slopeside Pub & Grill is now featuring their new winter menu. Get a sneak peek with reduced prices and kids 10 and under eat free with an adult purchase of $15 (excluding alcohol).
