Embassy Bank Invites Community to Submit Images of First Responders to Honor ‘Our Hometown Heroes’

Jul 2nd, 2015Press Release from ArtsQuest

BETHLEHEM, PA–Heroes are found throughout our community every single day, and this September Embassy Bank will honor the dedicated men and women who step up in a big way during emergency situations, fires and other crises by recognizing them in the “Our Hometown Heroes – First Responders” display at SteelStacks.

From now through July 17, Embassy Bank invites the community to submit photos of family members, neighbors and friends who have served or are currently serving their communities as first responders for the display, which will be unveiled during the Patriot Day Celebration at SteelStacks Sept. 11. Photos of first responders including police and law enforcement officials, firefighters and volunteer firefighters, emergency medical personnel and paramedics are welcome.  First responder photos submitted in 2013 and 2014 will also be displayed.

“Over the past two years, we’ve added images of more than 100 first responders from our region to the ‘Our Hometown Heroes’ display at SteelStacks,” says Embassy Bank CEO, President and Chairman Dave Lobach Jr. “The support for this project has been absolutely amazing, and it really reflects the respect and appreciation our community has for our firefighters, police, EMTs and others who step up in a big way during emergency situations.  All of us at Embassy Bank look forward to joining everyone at SteelStacks on September 11 to honor these courageous individuals who are making a difference in our community each and every day.”

Photo submissions for Our Hometown Heroes – First Responders can be uploaded to www.steelstacks.org/festivals/patriotic-holidays/patriot-day/ or dropped off at the Banana Factory, 25 W. Third St., Bethlehem, or any Embassy Bank branch in the Lehigh Valley.  All photos will be returned and can be picked up at the Banana Factory during normal business hours from July 18-26.
