BETHLEHEM, PA—The work of students and alumni of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts (LVPA) is on display in the Banko Family Gallery of ArtsQuest’s Banana Factory, 25 W. Third St., Bethlehem, from Jan. 14-March 4 during the “LVPA Alumni and Current Student Exhibition.”

The LVPA Alumni and Current Student Exhibition features a variety of two- and three-dimensional works created by LVPA students starting with the graduating class of 2008 through the present. Included in the show are drawings, oil and acrylic paintings, plaster sculptures, found object sculptures, mixed media pieces and more. The reception for the exhibition will take place Feb. 3, 6-9 p.m., at the Banana Factory; the event free and open to the public.

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts provides a rich and comprehensive educational program for students in grades 9 through 12 with talents and potential in dance, instrumental music, visual arts, vocal music, theatre and figure skating. Admission to LVPA is based on audition. This regional model enables each student to maximize his or her special talents. The school’s graduates increase the quality of their life, the lives of people who surround them, and the respective communities of the Lehigh Valley.

Banko Family Gallery exhibitions are supported in part by ServiceMaster by Round the Clock Cleaning and a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Gallery hours are 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. For more information on the LVPA exhibition, please visit
