Oct 5th, 2016Press Release from Easton Farmers’ Market

Easton, PA, October 4, 2016  – Celebrate autumn and the harvesting of local apples at the Easton Farmers’ Market’s Apple Jam on Saturday, October 8th.  Farmers will be offering more than 30  varieties of apples, and shoppers will find a selection of apple baked goods including apple pie, apple cider donuts and apple fritters, and, of course, there will be delicious fresh pressed apple cider for sale.  Sample over a dozen varieties of local apples and then join in the fun at the annual apple pie eating contest to vie for the top prize or just cheer on your favorite contestant.  At the music tent from 10 am to 12 noon is Late Night Kennel Club and the featured artist of the week is Mud & Maker, from Pottsville, PA.  So come to downtown Easton’s Centre Square this Saturday for a jammin’ good time.

As a producer-only market, all products sold at the Easton Farmers’ Market are locally-grown and produced by its 35 vendors.  A program of the Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP), the market operates every Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine, in Centre Square, Easton PA, until December 17, 2016.
