Blue Mountain Resort Caters to Wine & Food Enthusiasts
Palmerton, Pennsylvania (31 May 2016) – Spend the weekend pairing wine and food with a breathtaking view at Blue Mountain Resort’s Wine Me Up! Festival. This must-attend event of the summer will showcase wine from the best vineyards in Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 from 12pm-5pm. Wine samples will be paired with twelve different tapas prepared by Blue Mountain Resort culinary chefs and served in the beautiful Summit Lodge courtyard and surrounding areas. Guests will sip, eat and indulge in live entertainment and unique craft vendors while taking in a spectacular view of the Pocono Mountains. Winemakers will be in attendance to share knowledge about their products and provide samples to tantalize the taste buds. Guests will also have the opportunity to buy their favorite wines directly from the vineyards at the festival.
A variety of tickets are available to attend the weekend-long event. Guests can purchase an all-inclusive pass, a food passport, or a designated driver ticket. All other Resort outdoor activities will be available during the festival. Live entertainment will be provided by She Said Sunday on Saturday, June 4th and by Strange Coincidence on Sunday, June 5th.
To kick off the decadent weekend, an impressive preview dinner will be held on Friday, June 3 from 6pm- 9pm in the Alpine Ballroom. The evening will feature a unique 4-course meal paired and made with the wine of four featured wineries, a chance to meet the winemakers and live music. Guests will also receive a VIP- specialty gift bag and commemorative wine glass. While ticket sales for the public have concluded for the preview night, Blue Mountain Resort is encouraging members of the media to attend for pictures and opportunities to speak with the featured wineries prior to the weekend festivities. There will also be Resort staff members available for interviews.
