BETHLEHEM, PA—Swing/big band act Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Tony Award winner Faith Prince, George LaMond and comedian Doug Benson are among the new acts coming to the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Tickets for all newly-announced shows will go on sale April 9, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and April 12, 10 a.m., to the public. They’ll be available at and 610-332-3378.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy – May 23, 7:30 p.m. (Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling)

Since its arrival on the music scene in 1993 in a legendary residency at Los Angeles’ Brown Derby nightclub, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has entertained listeners throughout the nation with its fusion of classic American sounds including jazz, swing, Dixieland and big band. Over the years, this group has built its own songbook of original dance tunes, and, nearly two decades later, is a veteran force that to this day adds new fans by the roomful every time it plays.


Latin Dance Night featuring George LaMond – May 31, 10 p.m. (Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling)

American freestyle artist George LaMond has had several hits on the dance and Latin charts including “Bad of the Heart,” which reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “No Matter What,” a duet with Brenda K. Starr that hit No. 49 on the Hot 100. Not content with simply conquering the English-speaking market, in 1999 LaMond joined the roster at Prestigio Records, an independent label distributed by Sony. His first single, “Si Tu Te Vas,” quickly reached the top of the charts and his first Latin album, Entrega, went gold in eight weeks.


Faith Prince – Have a Little Faith – June 2, 7 p.m. (Fowler Blast Furnace Room)

TonyAward winner Faith Prince dazzles audiences as she moves effortlessly between theater, concerts, television and movies. Her latest concert, Have A Little Faith, is a “smorgasbord” of Faith Prince: past, present and future. From her memorable Broadway triumphs to tales and songs from her early Off-Broadway gems to her latest Broadway roles, the evening sparkles with doses of her quirky trademark humor, as well as touching moments filled with pathos. As hostess of this musical evening, Faith Prince guarantees that the best is yet to come!

LIVE WIRE – a Tribute to AC/DC – June 27, 8 p.m. (Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling)

LIVE WIRE offers the most complete and authentic reproduction of AC/DC’s sound and stage performance in the world. Established in 2000 and hailing from the New York area, this group has performed for audiences around the world, playing the best of AC/DC from the band’s Australian club circuit days to the superstar worldwide status of its present hits!


Philadelphia Funk Authority – July 26, 8 p.m. (Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling)

Tickets: $8 and $12 in advance; $10 and $15 day of show

The Philadelphia Funk Authority has built up a reputation of making the party happen, proving time and again the ability to deliver at parties, clubs, festivals, weddings and concerts. This dynamic group specializes in getting the crowd out on the dance floor by serving up the best soul, R&B, funk, dance and party music from the past 40 years.


Doug Benson – Sept. 7, 8:30 p.m. (Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling)

Tickets: $19 and $24 in advance; $24 and $29 day of show

A top-six finisher on Last Comic Standing, Doug Benson is a regular on Jimmy Kimmel Live, has two Comedy Central Presents specials and was featured on four seasons of VH-1’s Best Week Ever. He has also appeared on Friends, The Sarah Silverman Program, Curb Your Enthusiasm and more. Benson has four CDs on Comedy Central Records and his live show, The Benson Interruption, was recently a series broadcast on Comedy Central.
