A week of Romance at the

Historic Hotel Bethlehem!

Bethlehem, Pa. February 9, 2012  – The General Manager of the Historic Hotel Bethlehem, Dennis J. Costello, is pleased to announce more than a week of “romance, wine, chocolate, champagne, dinner and dancing” beginning on February 10th.

“Because this year Valentines Day falls in the middle of the week, we decided to extend our traditional celebration so that our guests can choose to celebrate on either weekend or during the week” says Costello.  The hotel features the “Romantic Escape Package” which includes deluxe overnight accommodations with chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, dinner and breakfast for two for $299, this includes tax and gratuity.  Guests can extend their stay for a second night for $129 including tax.

In addition to the overnight package, on Thursday, February 16th the Executive Chef will be offering a special Valentines Wine Dinner; a five course meal with a chocolate focus and complimenting wines.   The first course begins with a foie gras pâté
with chocolate brioche bread and cherry chutney.  The second course is seared scallops with white chocolate and cauliflower puree with toasted almonds and tarragon.  The third course a dry aged sirloin over cayenne pepper crostini with baby arugula and a chocolate balsamic vinaigrette.  The fourth course a roasted cornish hen with mole sauce and rice pilaf with dried fruit and nuts.  For the finale, a decadent chocolate trio will be served. The Chocolate Wine dinner is $75.

On Friday February 17th, from 9:00pm to midnight, Club Mural presents “Dancing and Romancing” to Motown favorites with a 12 piece band and a full cash bar, no reservations needed.

The Executive Chef’s “Red Menu” will be available in both restaurants from February 10th through February 18th.  This menu is unique in that every course has a red item on it. This menu includes a complimentary Kir Royale and is $55 plus tax and gratuity.
