FREE First Friday Art Exhibit Reception; Carol Front and David Haas- Poetry of the Industrial and Rural Landscape
This exhibit is part of the InVision Photo Festival. Twenty black and white photographs capture tranquil and contemplative scenes from the greater Lehigh Valley. Among the small group of talented artists still devoted to traditional photographic methods, Carol Front and David Haas for decades have paid tribute to the history and beauty of rural and industrial scenery of the greater Lehigh Valley and beyond. Although Haas has printed Front’s photographs for many years, while sharing an affinity for evocative and historical imagery, these gifted artists have never before exhibited together. Dr. Christine I. Oaklander is guest curator for the exhibition.
The exhibit is on display through November 21. Private viewings are available through special request by contacting the school’s Artistic Director of Visual Art, Lorie Reinhard at 610-868-2971 ext. 3155.
The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts hosts both student and professional art exhibitions in its Corpora Gallery throughout the year. The school has been proud to be a part of the InVision Photo Festival for the past five years. To view the school’s exhibit list, please visit: www.CharterArts.org.
