Arts At St. John’s Noon Ten Concert
The first program for the 2017 series of the Arts at St. John’s will take place on Tuesday, March 7, at 12:10 PM with Eric Plutz, Princeton University organist. Mr. Plutz presented an excellent concert in our series in 2015 and therefore he was invited to participate in this special event. During the week of March 5-12, the Allentown Symphony has planned An Organ Extravaganza with concerts each day.
The Arts at St. John’s was one of the organizations which was invited to participate in this Lehigh Valley event. Mr. Plutz will not only perform major pieces by Bach and Mendelssohn but also selections such as “O Beautiful for Spacious Skies” and “All Through the Night.” Mr. Plutz serves as Dean of the Central New Jersey Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He has also made six solo recordings on the organ and has presented many performances both in this country and in Europe. Don’t miss this unusual opportunity! Free will offering.
