Artist-book Workshop

Create a one-of-a-kind artist book with your kids that they can take home with them while you explore the aspects of the exhibitions Above the Fold: New Expression in Origami and Made in America: Industrial Photography from the Ungar Collection.

This afternoon’s workshop is geared toward children and families and will be led by Maryann Riker, a mixed-media artist whose works incorporate digital images, Victorian iconography, and other symbols to convey a sense of memory and time as one opens and unfolds the work. They have been exhibited internationally and are in the special collections of the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Walker Art Center, the Art Institute of Chicago, Mills College, the Rhode Island School of Design, Lafayette College, Rutgers University, Newark Art Museum, and many other private and public collections.
