2014 Walk MS

Valley Preferred Cycling Center, in association with the National MS Society, is proud to announce that the world famous cycling track is the new location for Walk MS: Lehigh Valley.

The event will take place Sunday, April 27th, 2014 from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM, and will begin and end inside Valley Preferred Cycling Center. The 2.5 mile walk will kick off at 10:00 AM, and walkers will exit Valley Preferred Cycling Center, and head across the street to Bob Rodale Park, where they will take two laps around the 1.1 mile path which winds through woods and open field, providing a scenic setting for the walk.

Walk MS: Lehigh Valley has been held at Coca-Cola Park for the past several years, and the switch to the natural setting of Valley Preferred Cycling Center and Bob Rodale Park will let walkers experience the great outdoors during the walk benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

There will be a total of five walks taking place on April 27th, 2014, including walks at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, East Goshen Township Park in West Chester, Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, Lenape Park in Sellersville, Ridley Creek State Park in Media, and Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Breinigsville.

“Being a non-profit facility, Valley Preferred Cycling Center is always looking for ways to benefit other non-profit organizations, and we are thrilled to be able to help individuals and families who are dealing with a loved one or friend who has M.S.” said Marty Nothstein, Valley Preferred Cycling Center Executive Director. “This walk will be supporting a great cause, and it is a great way to kick off the 2014 season, and welcome the community back to Valley Preferred Cycling Center.”
