17th Annual Lehigh Valley Buddy Walk
The Lehigh Valley Buddy Walk hosted by the Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center (EPDSC) is held each Fall to help kick off National Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October. Join us as we travel one mile through Rodale Park and enjoy many entertaining activities for children and adults at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center. This year our goal is to have over 1, 500 participants and raise $75,000.
The Buddy Walk is the primary fundraiser for the EPDSC. All proceeds with assist to provide medical evaluations, family support initiatives and continuing learning and skill development for individuals with Down syndrome. Thank you for your support to increase awareness and advocacy for people with Down syndrome.
The event cost is $15 per person and FREE for individuals with Down Syndrome. Make sure to pre-register to receive a Buddy Walk t-shirt and food at the event. The registration cost covers all the entertainment as well.
Form a team and start sharing your fundraising team page with friends and family. There will be prizes given to teams that reach fundraising goal levels. Levels and prizes to be announced soon…so start raising today :)
