If You Build It, They Will Come
Here in Lehigh Valley, tourism plays a big role. On average, tourism generates more than $2 billion in revenue for the region and welcomes more than 15 million visitors annually. Local tourism builds business, creates and sustains jobs, and improves the quality of life for everyone.
At Discover Lehigh Valley, we celebrate the tourism industry every day. We’re lucky to live in such a culturally rich area where new and exciting things are always happening. From Musikfest and Crayola Experience to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Phantoms, there’s always something to satisfy one’s interests.
In honor of National Tourism Week (May 2–10), we’d like to extend an invitation to our Lehigh Valley fans to tell us, in your opinion, what makes Lehigh Valley a wonderful place.
In 2015, the theme of this annual celebration is “Travel is ___________.” When thinking about traveling to Lehigh Valley, what words come to your mind?
