This holiday season, you’re invited to experience the magic of Christmas in the Christmas City!
Christened by the Moravians on Christmas Eve 1741, Bethlehem is known for its warm, friendly celebration of the holiday season. Anchored by the Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem holiday marketplace, the city features more than 40 different events, activities and attractions from Thanksgiving through the New Year.
Discover the city’s rich history on an “Old Bethlehem Walking Tour;” experience the annual Christmas concert of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, the oldest Bach Choir in America; or see the city’s sights and lights on the popular “Bethlehem by Night Bus Tour.”
At Christkindlmarkt, guests enjoy live holiday music and a unique shopping experience highlighted by 75 of the nation’s finest artisans. The city’s historic Main Street is lined with a wonderful array of shops and restaurants, while the city’s South Side is teeming with galleries, boutiques and more.
The Christmas City festivities continue after Christmas as families from near and far celebrate the wonderful world of PEEPS® with the live music, art and fun of PEEPS® Fest. And the holiday celebration draws to a close on Dec. 31, as guests welcome in the New Year at Countdown in Downtown, a brand-new music and art event taking place in the city’s downtown.
