Stabler Arena

Welcome to the Northeast’s most intimate arena, and home of Lehigh University Basketball and Wrestling!  Stabler Arena is a 6,000-seat multi-purpose arena with more than thirty years in the sports, event, and entertainment industries.  We’re a proud community player offering exciting events and shows for residents of the tri-state area.

Stabler is owned and operated by Lehigh University, and is located on the school’s Goodman Campus.  The arena officially opened with Lehigh’s Commencement Exercises on May 27, 1979.  Its first public event was Holiday on ice in November of that same year.

Stabler has been a regular stop for many major musical acts, even acting as the kick off show for concert tours of successful acts including The Cranberries, the Grateful Dead, Bette Midler and KISS.  Stabler’s claim to fame is acting as the site for four music videos: Whitney Houston’s 1987 hit “So Emotional” and Bon Jovi’s videos for “Bed of Roses” and “In These Arms,” as well as Breaking Benjamin’s 2007 live DVD.

Stabler Arena boasts a courteous and knowledgeable staff, a clean and safe environment and an intimate layout, providing an event experience above all others.
