Mayfair Festival of the Arts
Since 1986, Mayfair Festival of the Arts has been bringing arts to the community. The annual four-day festival celebrates a wide range of disciplines ranging from painting, dancing, photography, sculpture, music, wood working, jewelry, and so much more. Attendees of the festival have the chance to get a taste of a bit of everything at this family-friendly event.
In recent years, the festival has been moved to the Allentown Fairgrounds Agri~Plex to alleviate the issue of dealing with potential rainy weather. Guests can enjoy galleries and demonstrations inside the building, and also take advantage of the surrounding outdoor space for additional demonstrations.
While exploring the grounds of the festival, visitors will enjoy 100 juried artist booths, a fine art gallery, three stage filled with performances, 20 food vendors, and three beer & wine vendors.
For kids, there’s also a hands-on art project space as well as performances geared just for the little ones.
The event is made possible by the help of more than 500 volunteers who welcome tens of thousands of guests through the gate. On-site parking is free, and tickets are available either in advance or at the door. Children 10 and under are admitted free of charge.
Mayfair Festival of the Arts will not be taking place in 2017.
